Owani Onsen Neputa Festival is held as part of the Owani Onsen Summer Festival, and on August 1st and 3rd the floats gather in the city center. (The other days of the festival they move freely through the town.)
The bright calls of "Ya ya do!" from the children fill the summer evening streets.
