Michi-no-Eki Tsuruta: Tsuru no Sato Aruja (Roadside Station)

The name Aruja was coined from the Spanish words "Grulla" for crane, and “Ala “for wing.
Thus, the word carries the meaning of "crane wings," as a prayer for prosperity.
Also, the word "aruja" means "here it is" or "discovery" in the local Tsugaru dialect, so Aruja is a Michi-no-Eki where you can “Discover Aomori souvenirs and Tsuruta products!"
